May 24th, 2015 Thunderstorms in Western Cochise County

A weak system moved into southern Arizona and thunderstorms popped up in Cochise County during late afternoon and evening hours, with lot of dry lightnings. Thankfully, there was no brush fire.

What a day like Monsoon season! just little cooler. Mostly high based thunderstorms and isolated showers, and brief heavy rain in Whetstone area.

2:38PM A weak storm over Huachuca Mountains.	2:44PM Developing storm west of Whetstone. First thunderstorm of the area.
3:00PM Small thunderstorms in eastern Santa Cruz County.	3:01PM Thunderstorm over Whetstone Mountains.
3:13PM Virga to the east of Whetstone (upper), and culumus clouds with virga near Pearce (lower, white).	3:29PM Developing storm base just southwest of Whetstone. Produced breif heavy rain and cloud-to-ground lightnings in Whetstone.
